Hide — Remove a comment from public view without deleting it (good for spam or low-value noise).
Remove — Delete a comment where the platform allows it.

Hiding and removing can't always be undone, and the original commenter may notice. Reserve removal for clear violations; prefer a reply or hide otherwise.
