Publish your first post

Go from a blank composer to a scheduled, on-brand post in a few minutes.

Before you start

Connect Buffer and check that it has the channels you need. Review your brand voice and memory before drafting.

Create and review the post

1. Open Studio for your brand and choose New post.
2. Write your post and choose its channels.
3. Upload media and review each preview. Fix any errors shown in the form.
4. Choose Save draft if you want to return later.

Each chosen channel gets the same text. Make separate posts when you need different wording for each channel.

Send or schedule

Choose Publish now to send the post, or set a time and choose Schedule via Buffer. Check the result for each channel. A post accepted by Buffer may not be live yet.

Troubleshooting

• No channels? Check your Buffer setup in Configuration → Integrations.
• Post not live? Check its time, status, and channel results in Studio.
• One channel failed? Review that error before retrying. Avoid sending a second copy to channels that already worked.
