Why is my connection showing an error?

Connections error when a provider's access expires or is revoked — reconnect to fix it.

What this does

Explains why a previously working integration starts showing an error, and how to restore it.

Why it happens

Berchtold connects to other services using access tokens the provider issues. Those tokens can stop working when:

  • They expire on the provider's schedule.
  • You change your password or security settings on that account.
  • Access is revoked in the provider's settings.
  • Required permissions changed or were removed.

How to fix it

Open Connections

Go to Configuration → Connections (or Profile, for personal connections).

Reconnect

Choose Reconnect on the affected service and re-authorize. Grant all requested permissions.

If you skip a requested permission during reconnect, the related feature stays broken. Approve everything the service asks for.

See connecting integrations for the full setup flow.
