Connect your first integration
Link a social, analytics, email, or CMS account so Berchtold can publish and measure.
What this does
Connects an external account — like a social channel, Google Analytics, or WordPress — so Berchtold can publish content and pull in performance data.
Before you start
- You need permission to authorize the account you're connecting (for social pages, you usually need to be an admin of that page).
- Connections are made at the brand level, in Brand Configuration → Connections.
Step-by-step
Open Connections
Go to Configuration → Connections for your brand.
Choose a service
Pick the service to connect (e.g. Google, Meta, X, LinkedIn, Buffer, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, WordPress, Canva).
Authorize
You'll be sent to the provider's sign-in to grant access, then returned to Berchtold. The connection shows as active when it succeeds.
If a connection later shows an error, its access token likely expired or was revoked. Open Connections and choose Reconnect to refresh it.
Troubleshooting
- Authorization failed or looped back? Make sure pop-ups aren't blocked and that you're an admin of the account you're authorizing.
- Greyed-out service? Some integrations are gated by your plan or a feature flag — see Why is a feature greyed out?.
