Composing a post

Write shared post text, upload media, preview channels, and save or schedule.

Start a post

Open Studio and choose New post. Select the Buffer channels you want and write the post text. Use the AI drafting controls when you need a starting point, then review and edit the result.

Add media and channel options

Upload media in the composer. Check the previews and options for each channel. File types and limits vary by channel. Fix any errors shown in the form before you schedule the post.

The composer sends the same text to each chosen channel. To use different text, make separate posts and pick their channels. Channel options change how a post is sent, not its text.

Save or send

Choose Save draft, Schedule via Buffer, or Publish now. Review each channel's result after submitting. See Scheduling and delivery.
