Content Inventory & Audit — your whole site, scored and tracked over time

A living, uncapped inventory of every page, post, asset, social post, and email — fused with SEO crawl data, traffic, and on-brand fit, audited for ROT, and tracked over time with lift attribution. Export to a native Google Sheet.

A content inventory is where every content-strategy engagement starts — and it's the thing teams dread building by hand. Now it builds itself, and goes well beyond a spreadsheet or a standalone SEO crawler by combining parts of the platform nothing else has in one place.

One row, four kinds of truth

Every URL in your inventory carries:

  • What it is — pages, posts, custom types, media, social posts, and emails, pulled from your WordPress, analytics, social, and email connections.
  • SEO health — a full, sitemap-first crawl captures status codes, titles, meta descriptions, H1s, canonicals, word count, and readability.
  • Performance — Google Analytics sessions and Search Console clicks, impressions, and position, joined to the page.
  • On-brand fit — every page scored against your brand config (voice, compliance rules, lexicon, pillars). This is the part no SEO tool can do — it needs your brand.

The audit, done for you

ROT analysis (Redundant / Outdated / Trivial) with a "reducible %" so you can do less, but better; SEO issues (thin, broken, duplicate, noindex, orphan, no-traffic); and a brand-fit verdict per page. Set a disposition — keep, update, consolidate, redirect, cull, create — assign an owner, and your decisions stick across future crawls.

Uncapped, and tracked over time

The crawl follows your whole sitemap and runs in the background — no page cap. Every build saves a snapshot, so you can see each page's trajectory and what's been added, changed, or removed. When you act on a recommendation and ship a play, a lift report shows whether traffic, position, and brand-fit actually moved.

It runs itself, with you in control

A weekly job refreshes the inventory and files findings into your Workbox as recommendations — broken pages to redirect, off-brand pages to rewrite, dead weight to prune. You approve what runs; destructive actions always need a sign-off.

Take it anywhere

Export the whole inventory to a native Google Sheet in your connected Drive — or CSV / an XML sitemap — in one click.

Find it under Content Inventory in your brand workspace.

Improved

Opportunities and the Roadmap — a full delivery pipeline

Triage opportunities, then move them from Backlog to Shipped on a draggable Roadmap kanban — promote the ones worth chasing, work them through real product stages, and train the next sweep with every decision.

Surfacing opportunities was step one. Now you can run them. The Product Opportunity board is a full delivery pipeline — a draggable kanban that takes a market signal all the way from idea to shipped product.

Real product stages

Approve a play and it moves onto the board, then flows through the stages a product team actually uses:

Backlog → Discovery → Validation → Build → Shipped

Drag a card between lanes, or open its detail view to move it, add owners and target dates, capture discovery notes, generate a discovery brief, and record the outcome. Anything not worth pursuing goes to Rejected.

Decide once, in one place

New opportunities are decided in Approvals — your single queue for agent actions, brand recommendations, and market plays. Approving a play promotes it into the pipeline backlog; the board itself stays focused on work you've already committed to.

Add your own — anytime

Have an idea that didn't come from a sweep? The New opportunity button drops a manual play straight into the backlog, scored and ready to work alongside the rest.

Every decision trains the next sweep

Promote and reject aren't just status changes — they're signal. The system learns which themes your team values and which to avoid, so each Market Intelligence sweep surfaces opportunities that look more like the ones you actually pursue.

Filter, focus, and dig in

Filter the board by product or market opportunities, and open any card for a plain-language strategic deep-dive with the evidence behind it.

Where to find it

Open Pipeline in your brand workspace. New plays arrive via Approvals after each Market Intelligence sweep.

Product Catalog — your portfolio as portable, AI-ready data

A lightweight PIM that lives in its own store, speaks Schema.org so it imports and exports anywhere, can be auto-built from your website, and is fully writable by AI.

Your products are the heart of your marketing — so they deserve to be first-class data, not a paragraph in a brand doc. The new Product Catalog is a lightweight PIM (product information management) that lives in its own store, separate from your brand config, and feeds the rest of the platform.

Built on an open standard

Every product is stored as a Schema.org Product — name, category, brand, SKU, description, capabilities, and the industries it serves. Because it's the same format the web already speaks, your catalog imports and exports anywhere as clean JSON-LD. Bring a catalog in from another system, or take yours with you — no lock-in.

Three ways to fill it

  • Import from your website — point it at your site and AI extracts your product lines, capabilities, and industries into a structured catalog for you to review and save
  • Paste or upload JSON — drop in a products array or a Schema.org JSON-LD file
  • Edit by hand — a clean editor for adding and refining products

Writable by AI

Here's the part competitors don't have: your catalog is fully writable through the Berchtold MCP. Point Claude or another assistant at scraped or exported data and let it create, update, and delete products programmatically — populate a catalog of hundreds of SKUs in one pass, or keep it in sync incrementally by SKU.

It makes everything sharper

The catalog grounds the Product Opportunity pipeline, so opportunities are scored against what you actually build and can extend from — turning a noisy signal feed into a focused, fit-ranked board.

Where to find it

Open Product catalog in your brand workspace to build, import, or export it.

New

Turn market signals into product opportunities

A new pipeline mines competitor moves, news, and filings into scored product opportunities ranked by fit — so your team focuses on what's worth chasing.

Market intelligence is only useful if it changes what you build. The Product Opportunity pipeline takes the signals your sweeps already collect — competitor launches, job postings, patent filings, industry news — and turns them into scored, actionable development opportunities on a board your product team can work from.

The opportunity board

Each opportunity card on the board includes:

  • Signal summary — the market evidence that surfaced the opportunity (a competitor launch, a regulatory gap, a cluster of job postings)
  • Fit tier — how well the opportunity aligns with your existing product catalog and capabilities: Strong Fit, Moderate Fit, or Stretch
  • Product/market-fit read — a plain-language assessment of demand signals, competitive whitespace, and alignment with your brand positioning
  • Source links — the underlying market signals so you can dig deeper

Cards update after each sweep, so the board stays current as the market moves.

Grounded in your Product Catalog

The pipeline doesn't score opportunities in the abstract — it scores them against what your brand already does. Adding your product catalog under Configuration → Product Catalog sharpens the fit tiers and makes the board more signal than noise.

Where to find it

Open Approvals → Opportunities to see your board. Opportunities are generated automatically after each Market Intelligence sweep.

Product Opportunities is an add-on and requires Market Intelligence to be enabled first. Contact your admin or upgrade your plan to enable it.

See how your brand shows up in AI search

Daily sweeps across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude track whether — and how — your brand appears in AI answers, so you can close gaps before they cost you.

AI search has changed how people discover brands. Before they visit your website, they ask ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude. If your brand isn't in those answers, it doesn't exist for that searcher. AI Visibility tells you exactly where you stand — every day.

How it works

AI Visibility runs automated queries across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude daily — questions your potential customers are actually asking. It records whether your brand is mentioned, how it's described, and what competitors appear alongside or instead of you.

The result is a running record of your AI presence: trend lines that show whether you're gaining or losing ground, side-by-side comparisons with competitors, and a breakdown by platform so you can see where each AI engine favors you and where it doesn't.

What you can act on

Gap detection — See queries where competitors appear but you don't. These are the topics where your content or brand signals need work.

Trend monitoring — Track your mention rate week over week. A rising trend confirms your content strategy is landing in AI training and retrieval; a dip is an early warning before it shows up in traffic.

Platform breakdown — Different AI engines weight different signals. Knowing that Gemini favors you but ChatGPT doesn't points you toward where to invest in content or citations.

Competitive context — You're not just measuring an absolute number — you're measuring your share of AI-driven discovery relative to the competitors you care about.

Where to find it

Open Performance → AI Visibility to see your dashboard. Sweeps run automatically every day; no configuration required once the feature is enabled.

AI Visibility is an add-on enabled per plan. Contact your admin or upgrade your plan to enable it.

Put routine marketing work on autopilot — with you in the loop

Agents run repeatable marketing playbooks for your brand, propose actions for your approval, and learn from every decision you make.

The best marketing teams do the same high-value work every week. Agents run that work for you — grounded in your brand intelligence, gated by your compliance rules, and always under your control.

Playbooks that do real work

Kick off a playbook — draft next week's content calendar, audit the social queue for brand fit, run a weekly performance review, sweep for compliance issues — or hand an agent an ad-hoc goal in plain language. The agent does the work against your live brand layer and brings back a result.

Human-in-the-loop by design

Agents don't act behind your back. Anything that publishes or changes configuration is proposed as a card in your Approvals queue with the evidence behind it. Approve, defer, or reject — high-risk actions always wait for a human yes. Approvals resume the agent right where it left off, so nothing stalls.

It gets better as you use it

Every decision teaches the system. Reject a proposal and the agent learns to steer away from that direction; approve one and it leans in. Over time, the work that lands in your queue looks more and more like exactly what your team would have done — only faster.

Built for trust

Rate limits, idempotency, expiry, and a full audit chain mean agents are production-safe: predictable, accountable, and never running away with your brand.

Where to find it

Launch playbooks from Agents, and review what they propose in Approvals.

One inbox for every comment across Facebook and Instagram

A unified, provider-agnostic engagement inbox brings every comment and reply into one place — threaded, on-brand, and wired into your brand intelligence.

Engagement is where brands are won or lost, but it's usually scattered across apps and tabs. Community pulls every comment and reply from your connected Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts into one unified, provider-agnostic inbox.

Respond in one place, on brand

  • Unified inbox — Facebook and Instagram comments side by side, no app-switching
  • Conversation threading — see the full back-and-forth, not isolated comments
  • On-brand replies — draft responses with your brand voice and rules already applied, and clear them through compliance before they post
  • Real commenter context — see who's talking to you, with platform-accurate identity

Engagement that feeds strategy

Community isn't a silo. Sentiment and themes from your conversations flow into your brand intelligence loop — so what your audience actually says shows up in your recommendations, content angles, and performance picture. The questions people keep asking become the content you should make next.

Where to find it

Open Community to work your inbox. Connect Facebook and Instagram under Configuration → Connections to start pulling conversations in.

Surfaces — brand-grounded AI for your own website

Put on-brand AI on your customer-facing pages — AI overviews and a website chat that answer from your brand knowledge, pass through compliance, and never go off-script.

The AI on your website shouldn't sound like every other website. Surfaces lets you embed brand-grounded AI on your customer-facing pages — answers composed from your brand knowledge, in your voice, cleared by your compliance rules.

Brand-grounded AI overviews

Drop an AI overview onto a product or landing page and it generates an on-brand summary from your messaging, personas, and approved content — not a generic model guess. Your edge POSTs the product context and persona; Surfaces returns copy that already reflects current brand rules.

A website chat that actually knows your brand

The website chat answers visitor questions from your brand's own knowledge base — your pages, docs, and approved content — using retrieval so responses stay accurate and on-message. It's the difference between a chatbot that hallucinates and a brand concierge that converts.

Safe by construction

Every Surfaces response runs through the same compliance gate as everything else the platform produces, so public-facing AI can't drift off-brand or out of policy. Surfaces are exposed through brand-scoped API keys, so each property only ever speaks for the right brand.

Configurable per surface

Tune length, tone, model, fallback text, and allowed personas per surface — an overview, a social caption, a chat reply, or a long-form answer — so each one fits where it lives.

Where to find it

Set up and manage your surfaces under Surfaces, then connect them to your site with a brand-scoped API key.

Market Intelligence: industry trends and a weekly digest

Automated sweeps synthesize competitor moves, news, and filings into ranked trends and a weekly email digest.

Market Intelligence now does more than surface raw signals — it synthesizes them. The system reads competitor news, regulatory filings, job postings, and industry publications, then distills recurring themes into ranked trends with an on-brand content angle for each one.

Industry Trends

Each trend card shows:

  • What's happening — a plain-language summary of the pattern
  • Why it matters — the strategic implication for your brand
  • Content angle — an on-brand way to address the trend in your own publishing
  • Source links — the underlying signals that informed it

Trends refresh after each sweep, so your team always works from current market context, not last month's research.

Weekly Digest email

Every Monday, Market Intelligence emails your team a digest of the week's top signals and trends — the competitive moves, industry news, and emerging patterns that shaped the past seven days. No login required to read it.

Source management

Choose which data sources feed your sweeps. Toggle on or off from the full catalog of news sources, SEC/EDGAR filings, patent databases, job boards, and industry-specific feeds — real estate, finance, legal, healthcare, and more.

Manage sources under Configuration → Market Intelligence → Sources.

Market Intelligence is an add-on. Contact your admin or upgrade your plan to enable it.

New

Every post checked — brand and regulatory — before it ships

An always-on compliance gate runs your brand and regulatory rules on every piece of content, auto-includes required notices, and shows you exactly which rules fail and why.

In regulated and brand-sensitive industries, one off-message or non-compliant post is a real cost. Berchtold makes compliance the default, not an afterthought. Every piece of content the platform drafts or publishes passes through a pre-publish compliance gate first.

What the gate does

  • Runs your rules automatically — brand voice rules and regulatory requirements both check before anything goes out
  • Auto-includes required notices — mandatory disclosures and regulatory language are added so they're never forgotten
  • Blocks high-risk publishes — content that fails a hard rule is held for a human decision instead of going live
  • Explains failures in plain language — you see exactly which rule failed and the suggested fix, not a cryptic error

Because the gate runs on the platform's own actions — and on anything an AI assistant does through the Berchtold MCP — there's no path to publish that skips it.

The compliance scoreboard

Beyond individual checks, the scoreboard shows your compliance posture over time: first-pass pass rates, the rules that fail most often, and which content types and tools need attention. It turns compliance from a gate into a feedback loop that makes your content better.

Scoped, not one-size-fits-all

Rules can be scoped to the channels, content types, or sub-brands they apply to — so a disclosure required on financial posts doesn't clutter a recipe card.

Where to find it

Manage rules and review your posture under Compliance. The gate is always on.

Improved

Studio gets a complete content-creation overhaul

Mobile-ready layout, AI rewrite in-line, platform previews, media upload, and a new speed-dial for one-tap actions.

Studio is where your content goes from draft to published — and it's been rebuilt from the ground up to make that journey faster, smarter, and usable on any screen.

What's new in Studio

Mobile-first layout — The full Studio experience now works on phones and tablets. Draft, approve, and publish from anywhere your team works.

Speed-dial FAB — A floating action button gives one-tap access to your most-used actions: new post, new story, schedule, and draft. No more hunting through menus.

In-line AI rewrite — Highlight any text in a draft and tap "Rewrite" to get on-brand rewrites instantly. Choose a tone (punchy, formal, playful) or just ask it to tighten the copy.

Platform previews — See exactly how a post will look on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X before it goes out. Preview updates live as you type.

Media upload — Attach images and videos directly from your device or paste a URL. Uploaded assets are stored in your brand's media library for reuse.

Native social publishing

Posts drafted in Studio can now publish directly to connected Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts — no need to route everything through Buffer. Compliance rules run automatically so nothing posts without clearing your brand gates.

Connect your channels in Configuration → Connections to unlock native publishing.

Meet your Brand AI Assistant

Ask anything about your brand — get on-brand answers, content drafts, and strategic insights in seconds.

The Brand AI Assistant lives inside every brand workspace and knows your brand inside and out — voice guidelines, audience personas, content pillars, lexicon, and approved precedents. Ask it a question, request a draft, or run a strategy check, and it answers with your brand rules already applied.

What you can ask it

  • Draft content — "Write three Instagram captions for our spring sale in our brand voice."
  • Check copy — "Does this headline sound like us? Flag anything off-brand."
  • Strategy questions — "Which content pillars should we lean into this quarter?"
  • Quick lookups — "What CTA do we use for MOFU emails?" or "Who is Persona A?"

How it works

The assistant pulls from your live brand configuration — colors, fonts, lexicon, personas, messaging architecture, CTA library, and approved precedents — so every answer reflects current brand rules, not a generic AI guess. When you're drafting copy in Studio, the assistant is one click away in the sidebar.

Session history

Your conversation history persists for the session so you can refine, iterate, and build on previous answers without re-explaining context each time.

Open any brand workspace and click the Assistant icon in the sidebar to start.

One brand-intelligence layer — and a connector for any AI

Your voice, rules, personas, and approved precedents become a live layer that grounds everything in the platform — and plugs into Claude or ChatGPT through the Berchtold MCP.

Most tools bolt AI onto marketing. We did it the other way around. Every brand in Berchtold has a single, living brand-intelligence layer — your voice and tone, audience personas, messaging architecture, content pillars, CTA library, lexicon, compliance rules, and approved precedents — and that layer grounds everything the platform produces. Nothing here is a generic AI guess; it's your brand, applied.

Your brand, as structured intelligence

The brand layer isn't a static PDF. It's structured, versioned configuration the whole platform reads in real time:

  • Voice & lexicon so copy always sounds like you
  • Personas & messaging so content speaks to the right people
  • Content pillars & CTA library so every asset ladders up to strategy
  • Compliance rules & approved precedents so on-brand, on-policy is the default
  • Brand memory — durable facts, exceptions, and learnings that persist

Every change is versioned with who-changed-what, and you can compare or roll back to any previous version.

Connect your brand to any AI — the Berchtold MCP

Here's what truly sets us apart: your brand layer is available to the AI tools your team already uses. The Berchtold MCP connector lets Claude, ChatGPT, and other MCP-capable assistants read your brand guide and act on your behalf — drafting on-brand copy, checking compliance, looking up a persona or CTA, or publishing to your channels — all scoped to the right brand, with permissions enforced.

It means your brand intelligence isn't trapped in one app. It travels with you.

Where to find it

Open any brand workspace and explore Configuration. Connect an AI assistant from the MCP setup guide in your workspace.
