Scheduling & the queue

Save drafts, schedule through Buffer, and distinguish acceptance from publication.

Studio timing options

Finish your post and select its Buffer channels. The composer offers:

• Save draft: save the work without scheduling it.
• Schedule via Buffer: choose a date and time, then send the post to Buffer.
• Publish now: ask Buffer to publish as soon as it can.

Check the time-zone label next to the scheduling field. Review the content, media, and selected channels before submitting.

Read delivery status

A scheduled post is waiting for its time. A handed-off post has been accepted for delivery. Neither status confirms publication. Check the channel results and the eventual published status.

The Studio calendar and list show upcoming work. You can open a post to edit it or change its schedule. Do not assume Studio has Buffer's shuffle or next-available-slot queue controls.

Approvals and failures

Agent actions that require approval appear in Inbox. Direct Studio submissions run publishing checks; do not assume they always create a separate approval item.

If a post fails, read its channel error. Correct the connection, content, or media issue before retrying. Do not resend channels that already succeeded.
